This is the modern day view of the bridge in Somerton Road, with St. Andrews Church in the background and the corner of Nash Road, and Nash Grove beyond. The bus stop under the bridge was first installed in the late 1950's, it had been at the spot approximately where this picture was taken from previously, but moved in the early sixties.

Where the fencing, seen on the left of this picture, now stands, was where a small 'cabin' shop existed in the 1950's and 60's, and the house where the beautiful twin girls lived was the end house next to it.
