Security Police checking supplies brought by Trevor Burgess, a Newport taxi proprietor, during the strike at Cwmcarn Colliery in 1921. The security police were in fact policemen on duty, one is a regular, the other a special.

The supplies were for the police. Note the miner's lamp hung on the car. Reading between the lines - wonder where he got that from?
